Less is more
Less is more. Elegance emerges in the guise of effortless simplicity, but this is deceptive. True elegance is the result of effort and ingenuity. Craft Code promotes simplicity.
Bespoke is better
Mass production is necessary in a modern society: it helps to ensure that everyone has enough. But let us not surrender the beauty of bespoke. Craft Code is bespoke code.
Configuration is tedious
Too much of modern coding is mere configuration, and configuration is boring. Craft code brings creation back to programming and development.
Craft is its own reward
Humans assign value in direct proportion to what it cost us. The free lunch is worthless. Effort is the true generator of value and meaning. Craft Code creates meaning.
